Overview of the Title
The title "A Feudal Society" was chosen to represent the Middle Ages because every single person was affected by feudalism.
Peasants, Nobles and even the king of England had to abide to the rules of feudalism. Contracts made sure that vassals would be good to their masters, and lords to their vassals. All of feudalism revolved around the possession of land and animals on a manor. All of Middle Age society revolved around feudalism, so it would be more reasonable to call it a "Feudal Society".
